"You Lack Focus" 1.0
Lately I've been fixated on slow aperture speeds. You know just playing around with light and how it travels and refracts and reflects and things of that nature. How it creates little trails at it goes. Light is quite fascinating actually. All these random waves moving at speeds that our brain cannot physically perceive dictate how we interpret the world and everything it contains. Your favorite color is literally just squiggly waves moving a micron slower than your least favorite color.
I'm a stickler for composition(as evidenced by my long time stannery of Hov and honestly by my outfits and how I structure jokes) and as such all of my focus has been directed towards that. A focus dictated by lack of focus, if you will. There isn't really any greater purpose or point to be made by doing this. At least as far as I know.
In a sense this is a bit "meta". You could honestly say that all of my favorite long form pieces on here practice a method of "focus through lack of focus". Finding disparate subjects and divining the one thing that binds them together.
