I just got some new Club Cs last week and I had to break them in. So I walked around, took some photos, blah de blah.
Honestly the Club C is a good all around sneaker. I know I went up for the German Army Trainer as a silhouette a while back and I like my Adidas BW Armys but the Reebok Club C(the off white joints) are official. Yeah everyone in Bushwick and Ridgewood wore them five years ago but there’s a reason why. Some things are overplayed because of the moment while others(like Return of The Mack) are overplayed because they’re great. They go with damn near anything, they’re not too complicated looking, the off white just looks better than stark white and they’re only ninety. I got mine for eighty five.
Sneakerhead culture has reached its nadir a while ago and it’s a blessing that it is slowly dying to hopefully be reborn anew. Because you lot dressed like shit anyways for the most part.
Lowkey sneakerhead culture was one of the primers for our modern grindset/NFT/crypto/AI quagmire but in the words of Trevor Lee(who the WWE wasted when he was Cameron Grimes I’m still baffled by that one), ”But we’ll get back to that! WE WILL GET BACK TO THAT!”
